Xios Motorworks Zetec
turbo kits come in multiple configurations allowing our
customers to choose kits that will meet with their power
requirements while fitting their budget. Each of our lower
stage kits can later be upgraded to the spec of our higher
stage kits for a reasonable cost.
Additionally, we offer an upgrade
solution for Aerocharger users that allows them to upgrade
to the more robust and readily available Garrett GT series
turbos
All Kits Feature:
• Garrett GT Series Ballistic
Ball Bearing turbos which are both water and oil
cooled. This newest generation of Garrett turbos features
new, highly efficient wheels and low friction full ball-bearings
on both sides of the impeller shaft. These design enhancements
allow for incredibly fast spool-up and very robust performance
when compared to other turbos on the market including Garrett’s
own older T series turbos. Additionally, our kits use turbos
flanged with the Garrett T-28 flange, allowing for a wide
range of GT series turbos to bolt up with little or no modification
necessary. If desired, we also offer our customers the option
to change the specs of their kits to better suit their needs.
For example, if a customer would like to use a GT 28/40
turbo and a larger FMIC, we will be happy to accommodate
them.
• Mandrel bent, stainless steel
exhaust side parts and black powder-coated mandrel bent
intercooler pipes.
• 2.5” turbo downpipe
• Highly efficient front mount
intercoolers made by Bell- Intercoolers Inc. Our
off the shelf Xios intercoolers are the easiest to install
on the market. All that is necessary for installation is
to remove the stock splash panel and replace it with our
aluminum splash panel with intercooler attached. No modification
or removal of the stock bumper of any kind is necessary.
Note: this part is not included in the base retrofit kit
as it uses the existing Aerocharger intercooler. Upgrades
and replacement intercoolers are available for retrofit
customers who require them.
• Autometer boost gauges.
Customers are able to switch this for a gauge of their choice
from brands such as Greddy, HKS, Blitz, and DEFi. (Note:
boost gauge is not included in our Aerocharger Retrofit
Kit as customers can use their existing boost gauge. A gauge
can be supplied if desired.)
• Bosch Bypass valve
used in the Porsche 911 turbo. Customers are offered the
option to spec bypass valves from Greddy to replace this
if desired at additional cost.
• No need for an external oil
pump on the oil drain line as the turbo sits high
enough to allow gravity feeding
• Xios Motorworks turbo kits
are also the only turbo kits sold for the Ford Focus that
achieve excellent performance with the stock catalytic converter
in place. As such, our kits remain street legal
in 49 states. Furthermore, by leaving the stock emissions
equipment in place, our kits have the potential to attain
California’s strict CARB certification, something
we plan to pursue in the future. Users will also have the
option of replacing the cat with an off road pipe or a race
header to further increase the response of our fast spooling
GT turbos.
